Tim Hill farewells Avoca
Licensed estate agent of Avoca and Ballarat Tim Hill is bidding farewell to the Avoca district in his role with Elders.
In a statement from Elders, the organisation said his retirement marks the end of an era, but also the beginning of an exciting new chapter with the arrival of Declan Haines, a passionate young stock agent with deep roots in the Australian livestock industry.
Mr Hill’s journey in Avoca began a quarter of a century ago when he and his wife arrived to the area with their young family.
Mr Hill said from day one, he has been a part of the local community, not only as a trusted livestock agent but as a familiar face at sporting clubs, charity events, and fund-raising auctions.
“I’ve immersed myself in the Avoca and district community and have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it,” he said.
“Forming valuable relationships with hundreds of quality people along the way. I have countless memorable moments, laughs and experiences that I’ll always cherish from my time in the Avoca and district community.
“I sincerely thank all the lovely people I have had the pleasure of meeting and doing business with.”
Mr Haines brings a wealth of practical knowledge and a passion for livestock that began on his family’s cattle farm near Carcoar, NSW.
From fencing and farm contracting to completing the Elders Livestock Trainee Program, Mr Haines has gained hands-on experience across key agricultural regions including Hamilton, Jerilderie, Gunnedah, Wagga Wagga, and Ballarat.
With a strong foundation in livestock marketing, agency operations, and client relationships, Mr Haines hopes to build upon the trust and reputation that Mr Hill leaves behind.
He said he is looking forward to becoming part of the Avoca community and servicing Elders clients.
“I look forward to continuing the exceptional service that Tim has provided to clients throughout his career in the Avoca district,” Mr Haines said.
“In the future, I hope to relocate to the district and become an active member of the community.”
Elders Avoca is inviting locals to join them at 6 pm on Friday, September 5 to farewell Mr Hill and welcome Mr Haines at Elders Avoca.
